Fees

All Kidsfirst attendees will pay fees from 1 July for all of their hours — however, a portion of those hours may be covered by the government’s Free ECE funding initiative.
Fees will apply to any hours over and above the 20 Free Hours.
They will be set at $1.02 per hour for sessional kindergarten and $4.60 per hour for all day services. These hourly rates will be reviewed in six months time to make sure they are still in line with Kidsfirst's sustainability.
Existing Kidsfirst children who are eligible for Free ECE will receive this and pay the hourly fee for any hours over and above their allocation (regardless of where they access the 20 Free Hours).
Children who access their 20 Free Hours through another provider will pay for any Kidsfirst hours over and above their allocation.
All Kidsfirst children enrolled and attending a kindergarten at 1 July (who are under three or over five years) will receive Free ECE, courtesy of Kidsfirst.
Waitlisted children who start after 1 July will receive their Free ECE entitlement if they are eligible. If not (it is anticipated that approximately 15% of our total roll will fall outside the Free ECE criteria), they will pay either $1.02 or $4.60 per hour, depending on where they are enrolled.
