Be in Quick for Free ECE!

Talk with your local kindergarten about what we can offer your family. Our sessional services won’t be able to give you the full 20 hours per child you may be entitled to, but you can split your hours with another provider.

  • Three to four-year-old morning children will be able to get up to 17 hours a week Free ECE and 7.5 hours for those in the afternoon session (depending on capacity at your Kidsfirst Kindergartens)
  • To access Free ECE hours for your child you need to follow three essential steps: talk with us, nominate your child’s hours and sign a registration (or attestation) form.

You can register for Free ECE at your Kidsfirst service between the 5th and 15th of June.

Meantime check out our parent newsletters to find out more or download this flyer.

Don’t qualify for Free ECE?

If your child is already enrolled and attending a Kidsfirst service at 1 July but doesn’t qualify for Free ECE (under three-year-olds and some over fives), we’ve got good news for you — Kidsfirst will cover the cost of Free ECE hours for children who don’t qualify for the government's Free ECE hours - the rest of their Kidsfirst days will be free. Watch this space for more details.
